a Wish with Wings has granted over 1,800 wishes to young Texans with life-threatening medical conditions.

To date, we are proud to have donated over $65,000.00 to aWwW and hope to build on our success this year.

10-year-old Ginny loves possums. She received her favorite stuffed possum, “Cubby” on June 20, 2020, when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at only 6 years old. She carried Cubby with her for her entire treatment, including to pre-op! Ginny contracted a deadly fungal infection in her sinuses, so she faced over a dozen facial surgeries with Cubby in tow. Ginny beat the cancer and the fungus, and Cubby was by her side when she rang the bell on December 19, 2022. Through the entire treatment, she talked about going to Disneyworld to show Rapunzel her own animal sidekick-Cubby of course! Ginny’s wish will come true this year, and she will get to go to Disney world in November!
